Gila Dems Primary Election Poll Worker -Interest
POLL WORKERS WANTED ($20 / hr)
The Gila County Recorder's Office has requested that each Party provide Poll
Workers for Early in-person voting during the Primary.
They have requested 3 in Payson, and 2 in Globe, to work in the County Recorder's Offices. We are seeking a pool of Democrats at each location to provide the daily coverage
This position pays $20/hour.
Dates: July 11 - July 29 (3 weeks)
Shifts are 8:00 - 5:00, M-F.
As a Poll Worker, you may choose to work everyday, or just some days. However, the 8-5 shifts may not be split.
Duties:
- Greet voters and assure that they have their voter card properly filled out.
- Show voters how to mark their ballot, including providing their signature and telephone number
- Twice daily, collect and count ballots (indoor and dropoff)
- Verify signatures are present on envelope
Training will be provided (3-4 hours).
