Yesterday the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission approved the "grid maps," the first step in drawing our new Congressional and Legislative maps. These maps represent only a starting point in the mapping process, and we expect them to change dramatically before the new maps are finalized in the winter.
The AZ Independent Redistricting Committee has posted a video covering a training session to show the public how to use their cumbersome mapping tool. The first map has been released, and the tool is required to view and respond to it.
