Gila County Democrats, the Democrats of Rim Country Women's Caucus, and other interested parties held a Women's March in Payson, AZ on Oct 2, 2021. This was part of a nationwide demonstration against the new anti-women laws in Texas,
which essentially stop most , if not all, abortions in the state, and enforce the laws via vigilante.Payson's March was a happy affair, with great weather and many, many honks, waves, and hand claps in support of women retaining control of their own bodies.
