The goal of the Great March for Climate Action
is to change the heart and mind of the American people, our elected leaders and people across the world to act now to address the climate crisis.
International Global Climate Strike on Friday, September 24 sponsored by Fridays for Future (https://fridaysforfuture.org/september24/) and the Mother Earth Project (motherearthproject.org). The strike is the brainchild of Greta Thunberg who has led the Friday strikes since 2018. With the current droughts, wildfires, hurricanes, and other extreme weather, it is obvious that climate change is upon us. Speak up about the need for change -uproot the system! Join the Climate Strike in Payson.
Gather in the parking lot to the right of the Wells Fargo Bank in front of the Beverage Place at 9:30 am. Signs will be available or bring your own. We will demonstrate on the sidewalk facing Highway 260 from 10:00-12:00.
